Friday- I started to design the front cover of my magazine, as well as the contents page. I was drawing these by hand, I had to decide the title of my leaflet and make sure what i was doing was relevant.

Tuesday- today I started the actual creation of my leaflet on photoshop, I placed the title of the magazine on in large font and also designed the outline of the magazine. I doing so I separated up the page into its specific section.

Wednesday- I got all of the other images that I needed. I added them too the front cover of my magazine to complete it. I then used one large image for the contents large and then placed text over the top in order to make it look like a contents page.

Week 2

Monday- we looked at the codes and conventions of contents pages of magazine related to the magazine we where intending to do.

Tuesday- we looked at the codes and conventions of double page spreads, that where related to the magazine we were intending to do. We then began the analysis of our double page spreads these were around half a page long.

Wednesday- We created our initial ideas for varying ideas of the magazine, we had to think of as many different options we could for ideas of our magazine.

Thursday- We looked into the ideas of markets research and how it was necessary to listen to what we have been told by the people performing the survey. Then we began the designing of our questionnaire.

Friday- we created our questionnaire, with the assistance of previously made questionnaires this allowed us to gain idea’s of how we needed to layout the survey.

Week 3

Tuesday- I made the general outline of my contents page and created space for any pictures I needed.

Wednesday- I placed colour schemes into the boxes I had already created and made sure they were co-ordinated

Thursday- I placed the photos I had taken it the space left for them, then I made them the correct size for the page.

Friday- I altered so of the colours to be more fitting with the magazine style, I also added a fade to the colour scheme as it when from left to right.

Week 5

Monday- I created my double page spread, I decided what my DPS would be about, and how I was going to do it.

Tuesday- I started laying out the general outline for my double page spread, placing boxes in the necessary places.

Wednesday- I placed the picture on the to DPS and the choose a specific colur scheme, I choose black and white.

Thursday- I selected where the work article would go and laid out boxes for where I was to be placed

Friday- Altered the photo to make sure it looked professional and had to white outlines around it etc.

Week 6

Throughout the week I wrote my article for my DPS, I decided that I would create my article as an interview; I decided it would be an interview of a DJ known as Diesel boy, I used the internet to get information on the artist which allows me to create a realistic article. This took most of the week as it required adding extra to make sure it would fit onto the DPS

Week 7
I spend the final week making sure that my three pages were correct. This was basically making sure there was no glaring errors and also making sure that there was no way is was going to loose marks for easy things I could fix.
